To build a running community that deepens people’s connection to southwest New Mexico and the Gila, strengthens stewardship of wild places, and helps return lasting support to the community, landscapes and trails that make these experiences possible.
Our Mission
Gila Adventure Runs creates welcoming, grassroots races in southwest New Mexico that celebrate the rugged beauty, honor the local community, and promote responsible recreation. Through thoughtfully designed events, we aim to connect runners to the local community and land, foster respect for the history and ecosystems, and grow a business that gives back to our community, the Gila National Forest, and the Continental Divide Trail.

Gila 100/50
Our flagship race, and New Mexico's only 100-mile trail race in the Gila National Forest.
Turkey Trot 5k
Kick off Thanksgiving morning with community, fresh air, and giving back.
Gomez Grind
