Run for a Cause: Annual Turkey Trot 5K

Trailhead for a low-key, high-heart trail 5K fundraiser!

Thanksgiving Morning, 2026

The Details:

  • When: Thanksgiving morning! Registration opens at 7:30am (cash or check only). Race starts at 8:30am. 
  • Where: Dragonfly Trailhead, Arenas Valley
  • Distance: 5k (3.1 miles) trail run / walk
  • SWAG: No shirts, no frills, ALL charity! 
  • Water/Aid: Yes, at the start/finish line only
  • Prizes: First, second, and third place win a prize! (prize TBA)
  • Entry Fee: Adults (18+): $25 (cash or check only) + one canned food item for our local food bank.
  • Youth under 18 years old get in free!

We’ve skipped the shirts and bib numbers to keep overhead costs at near zero.
This ensures every single dollar contributed and canned good goes to supporting families in our community through our local food bank.
